Arab League chief Amr Moussa said Tuesday that some Arab countries had sent weapons to the Lebanese Army to boost its fight against Islamic militants, as world leaders continued to express their support for the government in fighting in North Lebanon. Moussa did not disclose which Arab states had supplied Lebanon with weapons, or the quantity of arms provided.

“But more weapons will be sent, should the need arise,” Moussa said.
