The obsession

Senior Israeli officials warned yesterday that they were still considering a military strike against Iran, despite a fresh US intelligence report that concluded Tehran was no longer developing nuclear weapons.
(…)
However, it is widely assumed that Israel would need US approval, if not cooperation, for a bombing mission. In particular, its air force would need the US flight codes that would allow its planes to cross into Iran. When Israel requested those codes in 1991 to attack Iraq during the first Gulf war, the United States refused and there was no Israeli strike.

    beuuuuhhh

s: i have to say i share with you a number of your confused ‘question marks’:-)
i personally find it very hard to believe that israel would go as far as getting into a unilateral attack on iran…
i found the mentioned prospective agreement between israel and syria in an attempt to isolate iran quite interesting although i have my big doubts about it as well…

by the way, i recently watched an israeli movie called ‘the band’s visit’. it’s really good! i highly recommend it to whoever has access to it! bech, you should see it before going to leb. i think you’d appreciate it.

Nour, I’ll be checking the movie as soon as I can.
Confused question marks, definitely… But I feel that things have turned 18O° in only a couple of weeks.
Hopefully for the best in the region, probably not for Leb and Palestine.
If Syria does start getting along with Israel, what exactly happens to a very large share of the palestinians ? There will be nothing left but the PLO.
As for Leb… God knows what will happen.
