The US sending arms to Israel

You know I wonder why you don’t have “information leaks” by pundits in the world saying “beware the US is arming Israel”, just as much as you have reports saying that Hezbollah is getting arms from Iran. Some have a profession thanks to this like Ze’ev Schiff in Haaretz. The majority of his articles are on how arms are coming from Iran to Hezbollah.
For some reason, the information that reads “Iran is arming Hezbollah” looks much more scary than the one reading “the arms butchering childrens in Lebanon are being supplied by the US to the Israelis“. Did you get my play with words here folks? you have to be subtle to follow me into this ideological labyrinth. And I know most of you won’t be able to…

the important thing is to notice that the info saying that the US is arming Israel is out on the open, declared by US officials, whereas the one saying that Iran arms Hezbollah is only found in intelligence reports. Maybe this is what makes it scary. Maybe the Iranians should just say on a particular occasion: we just sent a batch of missiles to hezbollah for “security reasons”. Hell, use the same rethoric the American use.. you already use the “terrorist” ideological political weapon, why don’t you use others too?

  1. That Israel buys weapons from the US has never been a secret. So does Egypt, in fact, who is the #2 overall recipient of US aid.

The difference is that Israel didn’t go across the border on a peacful day, murder Lebanese and kidnap others and then make demands to Lebanon to get their soldiers back, it was the opposite.

When you invade a country, a “disproportional” response should be expected and it should come as no surprise.

This can all end today. Give back the soldiers and give the rockets to the Lebanese army and it will end.

Israel is responding to the murder of its people and continuing rocket attacks from Lebanon. Place the blame where it belings and appeal to the people who really have the power to stop this to do so. Hizbollah’s game of institutional hirabah is finished. They are criminals and it is difficult to understand why anyone in Lebanon would support murderers and kidnappers.

What is happening in Lebanon is what a country should expect when it invades a neighbor.

  2. Thanks for your comment: Yes, Egypt is also a client of the United States. But how does that matter? Egypt’s guns and butter deal has to do with making peace with Israel and keeping Egyptians under Mubarak’s thumb.

It is well-known that Israel has continued to conduct assasinations and other secret operations in Lebanon since their withdrawal in 2000. Are these acts of war? Should Lebanon have bombed Tel Aviv in response? Are the fly-overs acts of war? Should Lebanon have killed 400 civilians in response? Please do tell …

We know in fact that HIZB immediately announced that they did not want an escalation after capturing the two Israeli soldiers. Israel responded by bombing Lebanon and then HIZB began bombing northern Israel, so let us get the facts straight …

The IDF has already said this is not about the two soldiers, so let’s drop that bit of propaganda …

As for who has the power to stop all of this, please re-audit the military, financial, technological, political power of the players here so we can be certain who has the power …

As for countries can expect when they invade a neighbor, let’s say they get a group bent on their destruction…

    Thanks …

  3. 1. No. That was the old game where Hezbollah thought they could simply capture Israelis in order to get their criminals released from prison. The one they want from the Israeli prison is not a hostage, he is a murderer that killed Israeli civilians. I doubt he will ever be released.

See the difference? Hezbollah kills and kidnaps soldiers peacefully going about their business on thier own side of the border in order to get convicted murderers relased. There is an important difference and if you want to pretend that somehow it is the same, then you are part of the problem that allwos this madness to contunue. You support a group of criminals and give them status equal to an elected government. That is bound to result in conflict.

I sat right here in my livingroom a few minutes ago and watched video of Hezbollah launch rockets at Israel from inside Tyre. It looked like a residential area as there were nearby buildings that looked like apartment buildings. That is a war crime on the part of Hezbollah. When they launch those rockets, the launch site becomes a legitimate target under international law. Hezbollah is intentionally placing citizens in the way of fire.

They are cowards and they are murderers. They hide behind civilians in the hope to take advantage of Israeli consideration for civilians. They cause civilian casualties and then attempt to portray it is some evidence of Israeli brutality rather than has Hezbollah brutality. Don’t twist it. Report it for what it is. Hezbollah has nothing but a doctrine of hirabah. That is their only goal, their only weapon, their only doctrine. They have nothing to offer their people but combat. I can not understand why the people buy into it. The people are now powerless. They need to turn against Hezbollah.

  4. >> the important thing is to notice that the info saying that the US is arming Israel is out on the open, declared by US officials

us is supplying israel with *precision* bombs, to reduce civilian casualties. israel is quite capable of producing dumb bombs and artillery shells, which cause much more collateral damage among civilians. is this what you want?

like what??? do post the links to support this bizarre claim…

    >> We know in fact that HIZB immediately announced that they did not want an escalation after capturing the two Israeli soldiers.

that’s like a criminal who doesn’t want an escalation after taking a few hostages.

    >> Hezbollah captured soldiers in order to exchange for other soldier.

no, they want to exchange them for a convicted criminal who brutally murdered children.

    >> his is practically routine events since 1994

it should have never been, and it is not anymore.

the Lebanese government caught a month ago a mossad cell that killed several hezbollah and other islamic and palestinian party members. follow the news dear no time to find you the link. just google it.

    >> Hezbollah captured soldiers in order to exchange for other soldier.

no, they want to exchange them for a convicted criminal who brutally murdered children.

I do agree my friend, but i don’t think that Israeli soldiers are being nice with civilians either. again turn on the tv (not the israeli one!!)

    >> his is practically routine events since 1994

it should have never been, and it is not anymore.
